First, we determine what enrollment process clients should use to enroll in Medicare. Once determined we will help each client complete the enrollment application.
Second, we teach clients how all the Parts of Medicare function. Once a client understands how the parts function, we find it allows them to make an informed decision on the coverage they need to accompany their Medicare benefits.
Third, examine what plans will work best for the client based on their personal/financial needs and take action to apply or enroll in the plans.
Finally, confirm plans are in place and review any questions before the coverage starts
A service we provide to all our clients is an annual plan review, plans and needs changes, so making sure our clients have the coverage to fit their needs is what we strive to achieve
Start reviewing plans-Six months prior to 65th birth month
Enroll in Medicare-3 months prior to 65th birth month
Start reviewing plans-Six months prior to retirement
Enroll in Medicare Part B-60 days prior to retirement
Annual Election Period AEP-October 15th-Dec 7th
During this period, anyone with Medicare can change their Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage for the following year to better meet their needs.
Open Enrollment Period-January 1-March 31st
The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (MA OEP) is the time when you can switch from one Medicare Advantage Plan to another, or switch from a Medicare Advantage Plan to Original Medicare with or without a Part D plan. The MA OEP occurs each year from January 1 through March 31, and changes take effect on the first of the month following the month you enroll. You can only make one change during the MA OEP
